Talent and Performance Management
From Monday, September 27, 2010 -  09:00am
To Wednesday, September 29, 2010 - 05:00pm

"Show me a company's various compensation plans, and I'll show you how its people behave." Chuck Ames, former CEO, Reliance Electronics

Why is it so difficult to get a strategy implemented through people? Often when an organization embarks upon a new strategy, the last thing to change in support of the new strategy is the way people are managed - from who gets hired to how they are developed, measured and rewarded. But these are amongst some of the strongest drivers of behaviour in a company! Efforts at leadership and cultural change can be greatly undermined if the performance and talent management systems in a company are still supporting the old behaviours, or worse - discouraging the new desired behaviours. The good news is there is a lot of value HR can add to the business by aligning talent and performance management systems to support the strategy. AMA's Talent and Performance Management workshop shows you how to do it.
